Civic Design
Sustainable Civic Design
We design spaces that enliven public life.
Through a collaborative process, our women-owned architecture company designs public spaces that help communities match their public gathering spaces with their shared values and goals.
As a certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE) through the Washington State Office of Minority & Women’s Business Enterprises, we’re experienced and qualified to facilitate the pre-design process and design public spaces for communities across Washington State.
We’re qualified to design any public space you can imagine, including museums, libraries, community centers, recreation centers, city halls, town halls, and police stations.
We approach public projects in much the same way as we do our neighborhood and private design projects: by listening, gathering feedback, communicating, balancing the needs of diverse stakeholders, advocating for the project, and applying expertise that comes from decades of experience.
To do our work, we engage with the people it serves. We’re sensitive to community preferences, our plans are exceedingly functional, and we deliver it with attention to timeline and budget.
