You are invited to the 222 Market Grand Opening! Mark your calendars, invite your friends, we are thrilled to announce the Grand Opening of the 222 Market on November 19th. The market will be open all day, but the festivities begin at 1 pm with an official ribbon cutting ceremony by the Thurston County Chamber of Commerce. There will be live music, prizes, gift certificates and samples until 4 pm! Chelsea Farms Oyster Bar will offer oyster samples and Broth Bar by Salt, Fire & Time will hand out a free cup of broth to the first 50 people, the Broth Bar also features fermented products from OlyKraut. Other tenants of the 222 Market Grand Opening include: The Bread Peddler - French bakery and Cafe; Peddler Creperie and General Store - specializing in authentic Breton sweet and savory crepes and classic French gifts; Peddler Bistro - fine French cuisine with a large wine selection; Fleurae - a boutique florist, specializing in unique floral designs, as well as hand crafted jewelry; Sofie's Scoops - "Small batch from scratch," local, handmade gelato; Blind Pig Spirits - in-house distillery with a tasting room and Pantry - an artisanal grocery store and cooking school taught by Chef Kevin Gerlich.
The Artisans Group is ecstatic to have seen this project all the way from the design through the construction phase and now it is time to celebrate with the community. Come on down to Olympia's new gathering place and familiarize yourself with local and sustainable food, floral designs, crafts and spirits, housed in the warm and elegant ambiance of an historic and revitalized building.
