Daniel Wade

Architectural Associate

“I am always learning new things and applying what I learned the day before, which never makes for a boring day.”

We’re delighted to introduce you to Daniel Wade. Daniel is a Designer I who just started at Artisans Group in September.

His favorite part of the job is being able to show up every day and apply what he learned the day before. “I am always learning new things, which never makes for a boring day.”

Currently, he’s working on our PHIUS-certified townhouses with Habitat for Humanity, ensuring that these housing options will be affordable and comfortable. “I am excited to watch this project come to life and to be able to see my contribution to this community.”

When he’s not working, Daniel likes to hike, kayak, swim or just sit in the sun when it’s warm outside. During the cold months, he heads to the mountains to go snowboarding, snow shoeing, or out to a local bar to play billiards.

We always ask our new hires to recommend something to the public—what do they think everyone should watch, read, or see? “I am a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings books and movies,” Daniel told us, “It’s like living in a fantasy world. There is a lot of depth and great characters that make you fall in love with the story.”

Favorite animal? A fox—it represents intelligence, adaptability, and even good fortune in some cultures. “The fox’s ability to shed its coat can symbolize transformation, growth, and shedding old habits for new beginnings.”
