Multigenerational Lake House

The Multi-Generational Lake House, located in the Seattle area, is designed for a large extended family.  

Seeking both privacy and community in an urban setting, our client's program called for private suites that open jointly onto ample common areas where they can cook, play, relax and live as part of each other's lives. 

With Aging In Place designed and built in, every age and ability level is considered with assisted living suites, a lift for access to the second floor, playrooms for children, and craft, music and media rooms for the young of heart. The private suites are designed with all the essential amenities like spa baths, laundry and sitting rooms that allow individual families to be alone when desired. The family requested a more traditional style Queen Anne home that would suit their tastes and respect the history of the site and beautiful lake setting.
