Cabbage and Sprout Home
Our clients reached out to us at AGAP after purchasing a small weekend home in Mason County, looking to expand and modernize the house to accommodate family gatherings. Part of the request was to preserve the existing exposed timbers and create light and bright interiors.
The owners have very busy schedules and they wanted a place to relax that was energy efficient, low maintenance and comfortable. We took the original 900 square feet of living area and added an additional 950 square feet to include a new primary suite and large bath. The expanded eating nook now includes a large built-in banquette seat with expansive views to the water that surrounds this property. The original loft bedroom is now a flex space for family gatherings, and the added guest bedroom sports a long bench seat for lounging.
