The Artisans Group is happy to announce that our Island Passive House has been featured again in an article by Sheri Koones. The Huffington Post piece talks about how the Passive House (PH) movement is gaining ground throughout the world. And, while the Passive House certification process focuses solely on energy efficiency, all of the PH homes Sheri has reviewed for her publications have also addressed sustainability and health issues (by installing water saving faucets, using no VOC paint and other natural based materials, like marmoleum, for example). She also notes that the energy efficient Passive House approach can be achieved on a limited budget as well.
