Lucas Johnson has a complex and exciting background ranging from construction management to clean tech venture capital to environmental consulting. His main passion is building living spaces that optimize beauty, comfort, and health. He prides himself on understanding client’s goals and making them happen on time at a reasonable budget.

Lucas’ passion is bringing joy to people while helping them live a more comfortable and lower impact lifestyle. Community and communication are the centerpieces of his career. But don’t worry, he isn’t all sentimental; with a background ranging from clean tech venture capital to environmental consulting to green construction his brain is just as powerful as his heart. Lucas holds a Masters of Environmental Science and Management (MESM) and was the first student to also complete a Graduate Certificate in Eco-Entrepreneurship from the Donald Bren School at UCSB. He graduated with highest honors from UCLA with a BS in Physicochemical Biology. In addition, he is a certified Building Performance Institute Building Analyst (BPI BA) with many years of experience making homes comfortable, healthy, and efficient.As an active member of the EcoBuilding Guild Education Committee, he is also helping us to push the envelope of what is possible when combining beauty, efficiency, and simplicity.
