Check out our progress on the Frank Lloyd Wright inspired Passive House located on Boston Harbor and overlooking the beautiful Puget Sound. We are nearly done with the siding and are heading into the trim out for the interior of the home. The prairie homes designed by Wright revolutionized residential architecture, much the same way we believe the Passive House movement is and will!
Prairie Passive House
At 1850 square feet, the prairie inspired Passive House is a two bedroom, two bath with a bonus space in the basement. Designed for aging in place and accessibility, the unique floor plan optimizes views of the harbor. Despite the narrow lot, this design creates privacy even in a bustling public setting. We kept the form low and friendly, but with modern touches to spice things up!
