BIG House will be located on Echo Lake in Shoreline and will be a Multi-Generational Passive House. This home was designed for a large extended family comprised of four family units who have the desire to live together in a way that allows them both privacy and community. Four private suites open jointly onto ample common areas where they can cook, play, relax and live communally. Every age and ability level is considered with suites designed for assisted living, a lift for access to the second floor, playrooms for children, and craft, music and media rooms for the young of heart. The private suites are designed with all the essential amenities like spa baths, laundry and sitting rooms that allow individual families to be alone when desired. The family requested a more traditional style Queen Anne home that would suit their tastes and respect the history of the site and beautiful serene lake setting. As our presence in Seattle grows we are excited to be a part of unique and exciting projects like this!
This is the largest Passive House we have ever designed and we are excited to see it take shape!
