Artisans Group Seattle Metro Projects

Seattle is a brilliant mix of cultures, innovation and tradition and our Seattle Metro Projects Team wouldn’t live anywhere else.  Familiar with zoning and permitting, including the city’s Priority Green Expedited program, as well as building code throughout the region, they are ready to help you design and build your dream home.

Seattle projects shown here include an inner city lake front home in building stage and another through design and in permitting.  Please visit our blog or portfolio page for updates and more in-depth information on these and other projects.

Seattle Metro Projects: North Seattle (The Big House)

This unique, multigenerational, lake front view home was consigned by clients wanting to support each other through varied life stages.  Exciting collaboration resulted in a design that grants the ultimate in close proximity without compromising personal living space and privacy.

The home features four distinctly separate, soundproofed and fully appointed homes within the same structure.  There are communal gathering places for entertainment, recreation and relaxing.  Energy efficient design, such as strategic window and awning placement, allows for serene lake views while maximizing passive solar energy.  Superb quality construction includes an insulation package making this home far less costly to heat and cool than more traditionally built homes.

Seattle Metro Projects Out of Design and In Permitting: Queen Anne View Home

Our clients desired sustainability without compromising their dream home vision.  The end result is a spectacular Passive House that was designed to live in harmony with neighboring homes and natural surrounds while still affording our clients the modern style they love.  This home is on the Spring 2017 build schedule.

“The forward-thinking “Passive House” technology came along as a bonus I hadn’t thought much about in advance—that turned out to be a remarkable advantage I wouldn’t want to be without. I liked the idea of a house that doesn’t use a lot of energy, but the main advantage has been a new paradigm of comfort difficult to compare to anything I had experienced before. It’s quiet, the air is always fresh, the temperature steady in a comfortable range.”  Don Freas, The Jewel Box
